Students received the summer reading list during the last week of school. On the last day of school, each student will come home with a math packet to work on over the summer.

Here is the list of supplies students will need upom their return to school:
blue, black and red ink pens (erasable are preferred)
pencils with erasers
pencil box or bag for pens & pencils
ruler 12'' long not metal with standard & metric measurements
colored pencils or markers
Sharpie and highlighter
crayons & shirt for art (maybe a supply box with assorted art supplies )
scissors
notebooks for English, social studies, math (maybe in 1 book or 3 different ones)
homework assignment book - planner (can be bought at school)
looseleaf paper (3 ring binder paper)
1 box of Kleenex, a bottle of hand santizer and a box of handi-wipes for classroom
Summer Reading List:
Students must read 3 books over the summer. Each book must be read by a different author. The list of authors is: Katherine Paterson, E. B. White. Eve Whiting, C.S. Lewis, Betsy Byars.
Students should take notes stressing setting, character description & personality, plot. Notes may be used when reports are written the 1st week we return to class.
