SOCIAL STUDIES:
ENGLISH :
MATH 4:
HAVE YOU REVIEWED THE BASIC FACTS TODAY? (See below)
Learning the basic number facts, with automatic recall, is SO IMPORTANT! I can't stress enough the importance of learning the basic facts of the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Practicing and memorizing the facts help a student be successful in math! Use the links to the right of this page to review!
Math 5:
Math 6
Grade 6 students MUST:
Keep practicing basic skills! Review addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions and decimals!
The material is new, so it is most important that students review on a daily basis. Students should also review the basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions and decimals which we cover the first half of the year. They will continue to have a "basics quiz" at the end of each chapter. To be successful in Math, the students MUST practice and review on a regular basis, not just before the test!
